Run, Hide, Tell: Firearms and Weapons Attack
In the UK the Police Service and partners work very hard to keep us safe from the threat of guncrime. Firearms and weapons attacks are thankfully extremely rare, but we must always know to do stay safe. What would you do if you came under fire or heard gunshots at work or in public? Should you stay and hide, or run for the nearest exit? Would you know what to do to stay safe?

Domestic Servitude Animation – English
The real-life story of a survivor of domestic servitude has become the inspiration behind of a new online animation aimed at the communities of West Yorkshire. It highlights the signs, raises awareness and encourages reporting of this hidden crime. Domestic servitude typically involves victims working in a private family home where they are ill-treated, humiliated, subjected to unbearable conditions or working hours and made to work for little or no pay. The team from the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Hope for Justice, the Modern Slavery Organised Immigration Crime Programme and West Yorkshire Police have collaborated with locally based Fettle Animation to develop the content, which follows the journey of a young woman moving from her home country to the UK. Staying Safe on Holiday
The chances of being caught up in a terrorist incident are low but sadly we have seen atrocities take place in the UK and abroad. It is important everyone stays alert and knows what to do if the worst was to happen.
Before you head off on holiday, there are 3 things you should do:
· Check the latest UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Travel Advice for the country you are visiting
· Make sure you have adequate travel insurance – check the small print
· Watch our holiday safety film
If you find yourself in an emergency:
RUN – to a place of safety. This is better than trying to surrender or negotiate.
HIDE – it is better to hide than confront. Barricade yourself in, turn your phone to silent and use only when it is safe to do so.
TELL – Make sure you know the local emergency numbers in the country you are travelling to. For all EU countries call 112.

Turning 12-Year-Olds Into Drug Dealers | The War on Drugs
For the past decade, the UK has been horrified by the phenomenon of County Lines – big city criminal groups using kids as young as 12 to take over the drug supply of smaller towns and villages. It’s taken years for the police to even begin to understand that many of these children are groomed and exploited, rather than just arresting them as dealers. We show how county lines are a direct product of the War on Drugs itself. This is the story on County Lines, we would suggest that this video is aimed at Secondary Schools and above including staff.
