Fishing is one of the many activities that we use with young people when we are breaking down barriers. We spend quality one-to-one time with the young person, in a relaxing environment away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Fishing is a positive activity that the young person can continue to engage in when the programme ends; as they will have learnt the required skills they need to engage in the activity and they will have gained basic knowledge of the sport. This video is an example of a fishing activity filmed at Brighouse Angling Club; one of the many voluntary organisations that we work in partnership with.
